MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT OF THE INTEGRATED MEDITERRANEAN PROGRAM (I.M.P.) FOR WESTERN GREECE AND THE PELOPONNESE

The object of this project was to monitor the progress of the projects integrated into the I.M.P. for Western Greee and the Peloponnese between 1986 and 1994. The management consultant provided services that aimed to: a) Clarify the basic characteristics of each project (objectification, final cost estimation, projected expenses and funding etc.), b) Set and monitor a detailed timetable of administrative actions, necessary studies and works for the successful completion of each project, c) Timely locate and deal with problems caused during implementation, d) Classify the methods of assessment of the aforementioned problems, e) Provide specialized assistance to administrative and management authorities. The total amount of expenses of the I.M.P. for Western Greece and the Peloponnese was 578.7 million ECU with an absorption index of 103%.
